Mi Mexico Monday: Futbol Family

This week for Mi Mexico Monday, I thought I would share one of our family's favorite Springtime traditions...Futbol!

As soon as the weather warms up, and we have a little free time, the entire family heads to what the kiddies like to call Wisconsin.  It's real name is Huisquilco.  It's a small village that belongs to our municipality.

Being that Huisquilco is such a small village, there really isn't much to do or see, but our favorite place to visit is the campo de futbol (soccer field).

All of the kiddies, and even the grown-ups love to play futbol (soccer).

In addition to the futbol field, there is a play area for the kiddies.

There's even a basketball/volleyball court.  We like playing both.

My favorite part about going to Huisquilco is getting to watch so many players from different teams play on the same field.  Like in this video taken on Saturday, we have a futbolista from Chivas and Pumas, two from the Mexican National team and even one from jolly, old England.  (That last one being Hubby!)

I've shown you Mi Mexico, now it's your turn to show me yours.
