It Ain't Easy

What is the hardest part of living in Mexico?  Being so far away from one of the people I love most in this world....my Grandmother.

Happy 93rd Birthday, Gramm!
I love you and miss you!

  2. Hang in there, Leslie -- this is probably the hardest part of choosing a life separate from your family. It's what always gets me when we think about moving to Mexico. Your G-ma loves you and you're such a super wife and mom!

I really want to meet you someday. :)

  3. Leslie, that is also what I tell people, it isn't places and things that I miss it's people. Coming from a close knit family it's even harder sometimes.
    regards.

  4. Happy Birthday to your grandmother! If she is as sweet as she looks, she knows you love her despite the absence. Our families are always with us in spirit, no matter the distance.

  9. Happy Birthday Grandma! Leslie- that is what is making it so hard for me to make a decision about going to Mexico- my grandmother! I love her so much, aren't grandmother's special? She raised me so she is more like my mother. I talk to her everyday and I see her atleast 2 times a week unless she is out of town somewhere. She just started driving again, so she will sometimes say we'll take my car! She is so cute!

  10. CALYPSO: Thank you!

MELISSA: Had I belonged to a larger family, I doubt I would have made the move to Mexico.

I too, hope that one day we will be able to meet! :D

THERESA: I couldn't agree with you more!

LEAH: Thank you! I'm a strong believer in our friends and family being with us in spirit!

MEXICAN TRAILRUNNER: My grandmother's birthday was on the 12th, but I didn't post it that day because I was having problems with my asthma. BUT...you do share a birthday with another fabulous lady in my life...my mother-in-law! A very Happy Birthday to you!!! (And a big hug!)

MAMA OF 4: I hope I look as good as she does when I'm that age!

AMANDA: Thank you. Sometimes this cheerleader needs a little cheering up! :D

    OTTAVIA: Thank you!
